Niaz Asadullah

  • M. Niaz Asadullah is a distinguished development economist and Rhodes Scholar known for his extensive research on the economics of education, labor, and gender, particularly within South and Southeast Asia. He balances a robust academic career with impactful policy advisory roles for organizations such as the World Bank and UNESCO.  He is currently serving as a Visiting Professor at the University of Reading, and as a a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS).
