
Mariha Tahsin, Ph.D.
A Senior Economist with Alberta Treasury Board and Finance, where she constructs revenue-forecasting models to support fiscal planning. She previously led SAJIDA Foundation’s SUDIN programme—one of Bangladesh’s largest urban poverty initiatives—transforming it into a data-driven system responsive to household needs. Her research applies machine learning and novel data sources to public finance, poverty, and macroeconomic measurement.
